Want to take the weekend to polish those pieces? Good news! We're extending the deadline for submissions to Monday, August 4, 2025 at 11:59PM PDT.
Geist is seeking submissions inspired by the 1990s, and we're especially keen to read more non-fiction and comics.
How do we archive a decade that feels both distant and unfinished? How do we imagine what's next? Send us your best work that reflects, reimagines, repairs—or revels in the glittering angst of it all.
