Calling all artists, photographers, and collage-makers: Geist is now accepting art submissions! We’re looking for art and photography (traditional, digital, mixed media, etc.) to accompany written work in the magazine. We also seek to publish art and photo essays with text by the artist.
Send us your best work through submittable by February 5, 2025 at 11:59pm PST.

Geist encourages submissions from artists of colour, artists with disabilities, LGBTQIA2S+ artists, and artists from other intersectional and marginalized groups.
We offer no-fee general submissions for Black artists, Indigenous artists, and artists of colour. Please submit through the “General Art & Photography for BIPOC Artists” form.
We open a limited number of no-fee general submissions to low-income artists per submission period. Please contact editor@geist.com to access these spots, which are allocated on a first-come basis.
