Congratulations to the 2014 International 3-Day Novel Contest Winner!

Greetings from The 3-Day Novel Team,

We whittled the 217 novels submitted to the 37th Annual 3-Day Novel Contest down to a longlist and spent the last month debating the merits of each entry. After a series of intense debates, our 2014 International 3-Day Novel Contest winner is...

Traversing Leonard's Bubbles (working title) by Craig Savel! Craig is this year's winner of the grand prize and the novel we'll be publishing in the coming year. (We'll send an update when you can order the novel and give it a read yourself – it's exciting stuff!)

Our runners-up are:

2nd Place: Tsunami: A Love Story by C. K. Skinner
3rd Place Tie: Somebody's Nobody by Kendra Hardy & No Truck With Fewer by Gordon Shure

We love hearing about what you did with your 3-Day Novel manuscript. If you pursue publication, adapt it into a film or play – please let us know. E-mail us at info[at]3daynovel.com.

We'll be following this newsletter with participation certificates for everyone who entered this year.

Chomping at the bit to prep for next year's contest? Register for the 38th Annual 3-Day Novel Contest at the special discounted earlybird rate and start revving that imagination.

As always, follow us on Twitter and Facebook to connect with us and stay updated.
